09/2023 - Cornish by birth (sorry to mention it again), I have always had a strong desire to write something set in my home county.  I first got the idea whilst walking on the Mount during a summer visit and being struck by how beautifully stark the seaward side of the island was. Everything grew from that moment - over several years! Well known for its rugged coastline, its mining and its smuggling, I hope this story of desperate souls and the lengths they are driven to to survive is worthy of your time.

06/2023 - Ever since humans learned to stand on two feet, relationships have always played a hugely important part in our lives. I believe no-one achieves their ambitions without benefitting from at least one type of close connection, regardless of type. Varying my usual approach, all the characters from the first five 'stand alone' stories come together in the sixth.  I hope you find my take on this complex subject entertaining.

10/2022 - Mystery, murder, and intrigue combine in my first novella length ghost story. Thanks to relentless coastal erosion, a stunning, clifftop Victorian Manor house faces destruction yet the building holds terrible secrets from its past, secrets that must be revealed and resolved to prevent further tragedy. The race is on between those looking for answers and the power of Mother Nature (n.b. the first MacGowan and Dawes mystery).

08/2021 - I entered this collection into the Kindle Competition (2021), hence it is available in paperback. From the 1600s through to contemporary times, you can read how fear, that most powerful of human emotions, pervades the minds of the strong and the weak, the consequences it generates often life-changing.

11/2020 - Time plays a massive role in everyone’s lives. When it works for us we are so grateful, but against us and we curse it. In this collection, I have used desire, deceit, murder, desperation, the macabre and time travel in various combinations across the centuries and really hope you enjoy these.

10/2019 - My first children's novella - part of an intended trilogy. It was written (hopefully) in a style both children and adults can enjoy. Please join the 'Littlesticks', good fairies and a brave, young girl in a battle to save the world of oak trees from destruction. Will the evil fairies triumph or will good win out?

10/2018 - I tinkered with my very first eBook for years before finally uploading it onto Amazon. Based on the carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas”, it combines humour, mystery, a crime or two, passion, sci-fi and classic plot twists in a collection of seasonal, shorter tales for your enjoyment.
